In our cuisine, we believe that we are what we eat, someone once said "The body creates energy from the food we eat,  so it is important to eat good quality, well cooked food".  That is why our main goal in each of the Yoga Surfaris retreats, is to offer healthy food recipes made of fruits, vegetables and fresh seafood, always based on a  balanced, healthy diet.  After you do the booking of your yoga and surf retreat, we will send you an email,  where you will choose the option of the food that you will like to have on the retreat, so that we are aware if you are vegan, vegetarian or allergic to any kind of food.

Based on the information that you provide us, we will give you a menu, where we will describe each of the (3) meals that are served daily during your stay with us, and you will see the variety of healthy food recipes that we have to offer, from dishes of typical Costa Rican food to dishes of International food. 

For example, in a detox retreat, at the beginning of each day we will give you a green smoothie, made with different vegetables that will give your body the vitamins and minerals necessary for a day full of energy and adventure. After the yoga class in the afternoon, we will give you a smoothie made with fresh tropical fruits for hydrating and restoring your body.

 

This is an example of the menu that we create for your detox retreat:

Day 1

  • healthy food recipes,yoga and surf retreat,trip packagesDinner: Fish Kebabs with chile and onion on lettuce, drizzled with a reduction of tamarindo sauce, accompanied by baked potatoes with a blackberry sauce.  

 

Day 2

  • healthy food recipes,yoga and surf retreat,trip packagesLunch: Grilled chicken fajitas (grilled chicken, flour tortillas, grilled onions and peppers, diced tomato), Homemade guacamole (avocados, onions, garlic, cilantro, and lime),  Spicy black bean dip, Salsa, Chips, Fresh fruit (usually pineapple, papaya, mango, apples, strawberries

Day 3
